On behalf of the Management and Staff of the National Gallery of Art, I extend warm felicitations to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Government, and the good people of our great nation, as we commemorate our 65th Independence Anniversary.
Independence Day is not only a celebration of our sovereignty but also a moment of reflection on our shared journey as a people bound together by culture, creativity, resilience, and hope. Art, as the mirror of society, continues to tell the story of our struggles, triumphs, and aspirations.
As we mark this milestone, the NGA reaffirms its commitment to promoting, preserving, and showcasing Nigerian art and culture as veritable tools for national identity, social cohesion, and economic development.
