Publications

Publication is a key area where NGA has recorded notable success over the years. Recognizing the scarcity of indigenous art literature in Nigerian institutions, the department embarked on a mission to bridge the gap by publishing accessible and affordable works by Nigerian scholars. Articles are solicited from art lecturers in tertiary institutions, and many contributors have received career promotions through this avenue. These publications serve as rich reference materials for students, researchers, and academics both in Nigeria and internationally. Central among these is *USO: Nigerian Journal of Art*.
