NGA Meets OHCSF to Gain Approval for Zonal Directorates

On the 19th of June 2025, a team from the Organization Design and Development Department of the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) paid a visit to the head office of the National Gallery of Art (NGA). The aim of the visit was to have a preliminary meeting to address NGA’s request to the OHCSF for approval to implement six zonal directorates created by the board of the Gallery.

Present at the meeting were senior staff of both organisations. The Ag. Director Admin and Human Resources, Mr. Ismaila Adewale Alabi led the team from the NGA and steered the meeting while Mr. Nwosu Princewill Ugochukwu led the team from the OHCSF Mr. Ugochukwu presented the NGA with documents containing some vital information and requirements for the approval. These were: the Terms of Reference, the Work plan, and the checklist of documents/information required from the NGA. He followed up with a brief explanation of the process and explained why certain procedures or information were necessary. There was a brief question and answer session before the meeting rounded up.

The Director Legal Services Barr. Ramjul Voncir assured the OHCSF team that the NGA will provide all necessary information, while the Ag. Director Admin and Human Resources, Mr. Alabi assured the team that the NGA would do its best to provide all literature required for the process as soon as possible.
