NGA in Partnership with KWASU
The Director-General, Ahmed Sodangi, was joined by the Director of Documentation and Monitoring, Ngozi John-Uyah, to welcome Prof. Binta Sulyman, Director of the Centre for Museum, Gallery, and Heritage, and a distinguished member of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at Kwara State University. Prof. Sulyman’s visit centered around proposing an inspiring collaboration between Kwara State University and the National Gallery of Art to establish an Art Academy and Creative Hub within Kwara State University. This initiative aligns perfectly with one of our key deliverables under the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda: establishing culture and creative academies in each geopolitical zone. By partnering with Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) and creative studios, we aim to elevate creative talents to global standards.
