On March 12, 2025, Director General Ahmed Bashir Sodangi and his management team met with the RATTAWU (Radio, Television and Theatre Arts Workers’ Union) NGA chapter leadership, led by Comrade Gideon Kpiri, to discuss pressing staff concerns. The union executives outlined issues such as staff welfare, training, and promotion examinations, which the DG addressed thoroughly, providing assurances that each concern would receive the utmost attention.
The DG also gave clarity on areas where improvements have been made, highlighting the progress achieved so far. Additionally, he promised that other areas would equally receive the attention needed to the best of his ability within available resources.
The union appreciated the DG for the good work done so far, acknowledging his efforts in addressing staff concerns. The DG’s commitment to open communication and staff welfare was evident throughout the meeting, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Past union chairmen, Comrades Musa Balogun, and Ojo Agbor Idabi, were also in attendance, lending their support to the discussions.
