The Director General, Ahmed Bashir Sodangi interview with Brown Ajuluchukwu
Ahmed Sodangi, the Director-General, National Gallery of Art, had an engaging interview with Brown Ajuluchukwu from The Guardian Newspaper on 20th of June where they delved into issues concerning the National Gallery of Art, Street Art Vendors and synergy with the NCAC.
The DG also shared exciting plans the NGA has for street art vendors, some of which are to promote their creativity, helping the artists get their art works certified and harnessing their potentials.
Talking on the relationship between National Gallery of Arts and National Council for Arts and Culture, the DG affirmed that both parastatals have a very cordial synergy. And as sister parastatals within the same Ministry, they both share the responsibility of showcasing the richness of Nigeria’s cultural heritage, craft and art.
